Last week during Career Week, the campus was buzzing with activity. From presentations to workshops and from networking fairs to one-on-one contact: as a student you could orient yourself in many ways on your future career. Find out what else you can do to prepare for your first steps towards the job market.

Tip 1: Visit the Student Career Services website for tips, workshops and links to helpful websites.

Tip 2: See what career-oriented activities study associations organize throughout the year, such as company visits and in-house days. Or become active in a study association yourself.

Tip 3: Explore internship opportunities or look for an academic side job. To do so, use this handy overview of job databases. Also take a look at Jobs with impact, an initiative of the City of Tilburg to retain you as talent for the city.

Tip 4: Use the tips for finding a suitable internship and/or (side) job. Here you will also find tips for applying successfully.

Tip 5: Search on LinkedIn for alumni of your educational program and see where they work now to get ideas. In addition, talk to people around you about your plans, maybe they have some good tips!
